What charity does store profit support?
The Fleet Gift Shop is a non-profit organization run by the Naval Officer Spouses of Okinawa. Any profits are given to NOSCO, a portion is given to educational scholarships and the remainder is submitted to the (AWWA), which in turn gives contributions to both American and Japanese charities.
What types of payments do you accept?
We accept cash (USD only), check, and credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover).
Do you accept returns/exchanges?
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or exchanges. All sales are final. Please check your items before purchasing.
Where do you shop?
We currently shop in Thailand, Bali, Philippines, and Vietnam. We also carry merchandise form India and Shanghai.
How do I receive stamps?
When you receive a Fleet Gift Shop stamp card and you can receive stamps for:
Every $30 spent, when payment is cash or check, and when you use a reusable bag. When the stamp card is full you can use it to get 15% off a full priced item (excluding vendor items and already discounted items).
Do you ship items?
We get this question a lot! Unfortunately, we do not offer this service, but if you have a friend in Okinawa I’m sure they wouldn’t mind sending you some FGS goodies!
What is your furniture purchase policy?
If you are interested in a piece of furniture while shopping, please ask a staff member or volunteer to place a “pending” tag on the desired item. The “pending” tag will remain on the item ONLY while you are in the store. When you are ready to purchase the item please notify a staff member or volunteer so we can change the “pending” tag to a “sold” tag. You will have one week from the day of purchase to pick up the item if you are not taking it with you the day of purchase. We are happy to recommend moving companies at purchaser’s expense.

We are located on Camp Shields, building 6300 next to the Crows Nest, and 3 kilometres from gate 3 of Kadena AFB.
