Annual Ornament Design Contest

The Fleet Gift Shop is a non-profit organization that gives back to the American and Japanese community. We travel across Asia and bring back beautiful handcrafted items to sell in our gift shop. This year we would love to involve you! Earn the opportunity to create an original Okinawa ornament and have it produced and sold by the Fleet Gift Shop. The chosen artist will receive recognition for their original design and will be featured on our social media. The selected artist will also receive a certificate of achievement along with volunteer hours from the Fleet Gift Shop. The ornament does not have to be holiday themed; we are looking for a design that represents Okinawa. Artist must be a current high school student on Okinawa with SOFA Status at the time of submission deadline.

 • Ornament dimensions 9cm x 9cm.

• Artwork needs to be in color for production.

• All entries must be original artwork.

• Submissions should be sent to the Director at fleetgiftshopdirector@gmail.com or can be dropped off at the Fleet Gift Shop

 • Selected artwork will receive five volunteer hours and a certificate of achievement.

• Production of selected original artwork will be exclusive to the Fleet Gift Shop.

 • Artwork may be modified to meet production requirements.
